Let me introduce myself to you, my name is Shunkei Takahashi. I am a Japanese-style
artist. |

In this borderless world, the beauty of nature is that it has severity and
also it creates all living things. I think, the cyclical nature of
the natural world, such as the endless growth and re-growth of trees
in mystic forests or lake reflects the cyclical nature of the human
spirit. My paintings have been inspired by the emotions l feel when
I contemplate the natural world.
And also The Peaceful-time series's paintings have been inspired by the view point
which everything in the world is beginning from relationship of man and woman.
It is a peaceful-time of man and woman.
Since 1997, I had many exhibitions in foreign countries because
I want to share my paintings with many people.

親愛なる皆様
私は、日本画をかいている高橋俊景といいます。 |

グローバル化する世界の中で、自然の美しさ、それは厳しさを持ちながら、
あらゆる生きものを育む大自然、人跡未踏の森林や、湖畔で繰り返される自然
の営みの姿はまるで私達人間の心の原点を見い出すような、そんな自然から受
ける思いを作品に代えました。
そして人物シリーズ"ピースフルタイム"は、
すべてのことは男と女が元となって始まっているということに視点を置き、
その平和なひと時を描きました。
またより多くの人に見て頂きたく、'97年からは、海外
でも発表の場を作っていこうと、活動しております。
